The oldest hostelry in Oundle, the Talbot Hotel is available for our wedding guests at a special rate of £65 (what's that in American $) per double room on the night of the wedding (£55 single). (Make sure to ask for the special rate for the Rice-White wedding.) The rate will also apply for any other nights you stay the week of the wedding.
As a bonus, anyone staying at the Hotel the night of the wedding gets to linger past the 12.30 am witching hour when non-residents must leave no matter how good a time at our party they're having, since this is English law.
The Talbot has 39 bedrooms, all with bathrooms and coffee makers. The restaurant provides complimentary breakfast. It is also open for lunch and dinner.
The Hotel has its own oak-beamed, open-fire, transomed-windowed pub. There is parking around the back, and you can also park on the street, though this is more limited.
