Well, we're actually going to have a house in each country, one in England (in Oundle, where we are getting married), and the other in the United States, probably northwestern New Jersey. We will be going back and forth depending upon our various work projects, although we expect to be spending more time in the United States eventually, although this may be subject to change.
We have already purchased a stone cottage dating from about the late 1600s in Oundle (having now sold Graham's larger stone cottage some 5 miles away from Oundle).
After the wedding, we are planning to sell judy's house in New Jersey and buy a secluded, contemporary log cabin-type of house on about 10 acres in the woods, and have that as our American base.
We do hope to have a party in the States once we are in the new house, and celebrate the wedding again with those who couldn't make it to England - and everyone who did celebrate in England with us will be invited to the Stateside party as well!
