I love this garden. Reflecting the style of the acclaimed French gardener Andre Le Notre, rows of tall lollipop bay trees frame an extraordinary clipped box parterre in the shape of a spiral labyrinth with neat fountains emerging from the low boudary hedges. All guides the eye slowly but surely to the focal point of the garden, a large rectangular mirror, slanted to reflect the curving bough and foliage from the plane tree overhead - set against blue sky. Great.
