This relaxed and carefully staged exhibit is in two parts. On one side a glade of ferns around a mossy pool; on the other a grouping of sun lovers featuring one of the Hiley’s favourite plants, the red-and-white bicoloured ‘Splendide’ pelargonium. And, in between, a tall Acacia retinoides with its fluffy yellow flowers towers over a weathered seat.
