An adventurous exhibit, centred on a chess board and chess set in the centre with four corner beds of perennials. The pavers and grass pattern made the board, and the pieces were huge wooden carved fruits. The perennials were as beautifully grown and artfully arranged as usual, grouped to bring out the best in each other.
